By a curious twist of fate she gets a position as a servant in the young man's home. They eventually fall in love. An unprincipled bounder tries to take advantage of her. He learns that she is really the daughter of a great financier and tries to blackmail him. When things look blackest for Sally, her father comes forth and acknowledges her.
